Healthy Kids / KidCare

Healthy Kids / KidCare is a health insurance program for Florida children age 0-18. There are several types of insurance within Healthy Kids / KidCare to meet the needs of your child.

For $15.00 a month or nothing at all, the Florida KidCare program offers families peace of mind through its child health insurance program.  Eligible uninsured children ages birth through age 18 will receive a full array of health benefits through Florida KidCare programs- Florida Healthy Kids, MediKids, Children's Medical Services, and Children's Medicaid.  Health Benefits include:

  • doctor's visits
  • checkups
  • shots
  • hospital
  • surgery
  • prescriptions
  • vision
  • hearing
  • mental health
  • dental
  • and much more
