Rural Health Network Welcomes Dr. Arthur Doenecke

 

The Rural Health Network welcomes Arthur L. Doenecke, M.D. as the new family practitioner for its clinics in Key West and Big Pine Key. Dr. Doenecke is a native of New York, and a graduate of Columbia University and the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Doenecke completed his internship at Lancaster Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania before entering private practice in Pennsylvania and Iowa. He and his wife, Norma, have owned a condo in the Keys for 15 years and currently reside in Key Colony Beach.

The St. Clare’s Clinic in Key West is located at 2700 Flagler Ave, where Dr. Doenecke sees patients each Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Appointments are not required but are encouraged, and can be made by calling 294-0790. The St. Peter’s Church clinic on Big Pine Key is open on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 305-295-6135.

The Rural Health Network is a not-for-profit charitable organization and provides low-cost primary health care on a sliding fee scale basis. All clients are expected to bring proof of income at the time of service in order to determine discount eligibility.
